Xi’an University of Technology was founded on May 1, 1949. Its predecessor was Shanxi Institute of Machinery, which was jointly established by Beijing University of Machinery and Shanxi University of Technology in 1972. In January 1994, it was approved by the Ministry of Education as Xi’an University of Technology. Now it has three campuses: Jinhua, Qujiang and Lianhu. There are 15 colleges, physical education teaching departments and ideological and political theory teaching and research departments. It is a university of “the basic capacity construction project of colleges and universities in the central and western regions”, Xi’an University of Technology is one of the 24 universities expanded by the joint conference of presidents of graduate schools, and has a graduate school.

Xi’an University of Technology and Ji’nan Shuochao CNC Equipment Co., Ltd. jointly researched and developed angle steel line, angle steel drill, CNC hydraulic punching machine, CNC plate drill and other equipment and appearance design. Ji’nan Shuochao CNC Equipment Co., Ltd. is the internship base of Xi’an University of Technology.
